Recipient of the Canadian Institute of Planners Award for Planning Excellence in Sustainable Mobility Transportation and Infrastructure

MORR Transportation Consulting Ltd. produced a comprehensive strategy to increase the use, comfort, and safety of walking and cycling. It involved extensive stakeholder and public consultation to develop a vision for walking and cycling in Winnipeg and identified goals, objectives, and over 100 short, medium, and long term actions to achieve the goals. The project developed an implementation plan that prioritized infrastructure investments and established detailed direction for policy, infrastructure, and programming towards implementing the vision.
